Better late than never I always say right? 🙂 I’m getting ready to plan a Dr. Seuss birthday party and it occurred to me that I never got around to blogging the last party we had! My son’s first birthday in October was Where The Wild Things Are themed. Do you remember that book? It’s one of my kids’ favorites. The girls helped me decide the theme. Since their brother is a lil wild one, the theme was perfect. We are so happy with how everything turned out. I give you the details to all of our decor below.
My son’s birthday is two days before Halloween so all the kids dressed up.
The banners were so cute. The burlap Lennon & one banner are from Swanky Burlap.
The black chalkboard stickers that I used to decorate the cake stand (wooden crate covered with fabric) were from Swanky Party Box.
I just added some sticky moss all around the bottom. Sticky moss can be found here.
The Wild One banner is from Stripes to Sparkle.
The cake topper is from Smash Caked.
The adorable cupcake toppers are from Creations by Candace.
Lennon’s Max’s costume is from Leg Avenue on Amazon.
His sister’s unicorn costume is from Pottery Barn Kids that I got from Ebay.
This is the invitation I made for it. 🙂
One of my favorite things to do is get a custom printable for the kids’ birthdays. It helps us remember the milestones and what each little one liked at that time.
