Well it finally hit me today that we are 1 week away from our wedding! We started planning only about 3 weeks ago and time has gone by extremely fast. There’s still so much for us to do too, even though we are keeping it small there’s still so many things to think about and plan. What was originally supposed to just be a marriage ceremony at a garden, quickly turned into much more. We have now decided to also have a reception afterwards with music, dancing and food! Our 15 guest list quickly turned into 30, although still small, it’s bigger than what we had originally planned. It’s so easy to get wrapped up in the planning.
We are still working with a small budget so I plan on doing as many things I can myself, including customizing our champagne toast flutes, well for me it will be an apple cider toast 
and the wedding favors for the guests. I hope to customize some glasses for all the guests with our initials and the date if I have enough time. In addition to the glasses, I’m also planning on making the bouquets, one for myself and one for my sister who will be my Matron of Honor, as well as some corsages for the moms and boutineers for all the guys. I found a few pictures online of bouquets and corsages that I pinned on Pinterest from another DIY’r and I absolutely love the way these look.
Here’s a picture I found of part of the gardens of where our ceremony will be. Since our ceremony will be in a colorful garden it only makes sense to also have our bouquets be just as vibrant.
I’m praying my DIY bouquets come out just as good. I might do a trial run a few days before, but otherwise I will be making them the evening before so they are somewhat fresh. I don’t have any experience in floral design so this should be interesting. I’ll be sure to take some pictures of this project to share with everyone.
So with that said, if I am MIA this week this is why, there are still so many details we need to figure out with the ceremony precision, the music playlist and some of the decor. Despite all the chaos this week, I am super excited. We will be taking lots of pictures so I will be able to share some with all of you. I will be back late next week!
