We were lucky enough to get to preview the first ever Curious George full length film the other day Curious George: A Halloween Boo Fest. And it came just in time for Halloween.
We got the movie and a book called Curious George Goes to a Costume Party. I’m reading my daughter a lot these days, and most of our days are spent reading the same books about 20 times a day. She has her favorites. This one looks like it’s being added to the rotation.
She was more than excited to get them. She kept trying to show her little sister her new things…
The movie was ADORABLE.
She watched the entire thing pretty intently. I posted an Instagram pic of her watching it. If you think your little one would enjoy the movie too you’re in luck!
It is airing on PBS KIDS Monday 10/28th. Check your local listings to see exactly what time it’s airing in your area.
It’s the first-ever Curious George Halloween special, a full-length movie with 3 new songs! Nothing says “Halloween” like costumes, pumpkins and spooky stories Curious George: A Halloween Boo Fest finds George unraveling the eerie mystery of No Noggin – a ghost who appears in the countryside each Halloween, intent on kicking the hats clean off the heads of trick-or-treaters.
Sound familiar? It’s sort of like The Headless Horsemanbut for kids, only this headless horseman is called No Noggin and he takes hats. HEHE
You can get your copies of some Activity sheets here.

Make sure to set your DVR for next Monday the 28th! It will be a great way to get the family together for a not-so-spooky, kid friendly Halloween movie night.
